As part of our 30th Anniversary Celebration, join Six Rivers at beautiful Sutherland Nature Sanctuary on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 for a free evening of fun, food, and a Supermoon hike. Sutherland Nature Sanctuary is located at 3960 Diehl Road, Metamora.
We'll arrive at 7:00 pm to get the bonfire going. Sunset is at 8:05pm, with prime Supermoon viewing time at 10:35pm. We'll head out on the trails of the nature center and attempt to call in screech, barred, or great horned owls. Afterwards we'll spend some time enjoying the view and locating constellations. We'll provide hot dogs and marshmallows to enjoy but feel free to bring your own refreshment as well. We also suggest bringing a flashlight and outdoor chair.
