These range from proven increases in positive attitudes when we’re close to nature to the preservation of critical wetlands that provide important breeding areas for many fish and bird species. Recurring Gifts
When you choose to give a recurring gift, you will be helping Six Rivers maintain consistent funding, which allows us to more effectively plan and get more work done. When you make a recurring gift, this amount will be processed on the card of your choice either each month or each quarter for the following 12 months. To set up your recurring gift, visit our DONATE page and choose your recurring schedule. You can also contact Ellen Witz, our Administrative Manager, at ewitz@sixriversrlc.org or by phone at 248-601-2816, and she will help you set it up.
Legacy Giving
Six Rivers Land Conservancy has benefited from supporters who have left gifts to the Conservancy in their wills. These may be gifts of cash or securities or gifts of land. Gifts of land may be planned to be preserved as conservation land or planned as an asset the Conservancy can sell in order to use the proceeds to purchase conservation land. It is important to include the Conservancy in your planning, especially with gifts of land, so please contact us if you’re considering including us in your estate.

Major GIFTS
Individuals who have the ability to make larger gifts want to invest in an organization that can help them make a difference in the world and their community. We invite you to consider Six Rivers Land Conservancy when you plan your charitable giving. We would be happy to meet with you to plan your gift, which might include designation of your gift to a program that is of special interest to you. Major gifts can include non-cash items such as securities, real estate, or other items of value. The work of Six Rivers Land Conservancy is made possible through gifts from individuals, grants from foundations and corporations, and revenue from our events. It is only with your gifts and support that we are able to do our work.
