Don't know where to start? Here are some things to keep in mind when planning your event:
Go with what you know! Start with relationships and interests you already have. Host a wine-tasting party, hold a bowl-a-thon, or create a community walk event. If you go with what you know, you are likely to already know a group of people who would want to attend your event.
Keep it simple! We highly recommend not making the event too complicated or elaborate, especially if this is your first time organizing a fundraiser. Hosting an event is extremely rewarding, but it does require your time and energy. The goal of Third Party Special Events is to raise money and awareness for Six Rivers Land Conservancy, and keeping it simple will help you achieve that goal!
