The Rochester Hills Museum, in partnership with the City of Rochester Hills Natural Resources department, is hosting a screening of Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time. The documentary “explores Leopold’s extraordinary career and his enduring influence – tracing how he shaped the modern conservation movement and continues to inspire projects all over the country that connect people and the land.” To celebrate Earth Day and commemorate the Oakland County Bicentennial, the public will be invited to take home a 2 year old oak sapling. Six Rivers Land Conservancy will be onsite to discuss conservation and stewardship of protected lands.
